Terms & conditions for ibrick workshops
When you book with House of Fun, these Terms and Conditions and our Policies and Procedures define the agreement between us, and let you know what to expect from House of Fun and what we expect from you.
If you have any questions about our Terms and Conditions, please email us at bookings@house-of-fun.co.uk.
1. Bookings
A booking is confirmed once a confirmation has been issued by House of Fun. Once a booking has been confirmed an invoice will be raised and issued. Payment terms are issued with invoice.
Bookings made online will be confirmed by email and once confirmed are subject to a 14 day ‘cooling off’ period. An online booking cancelled within 14 days of the date booked (and before the date the booking is to take place) will be refunded in full. Once a booking has been made and the 14 day ‘cooling off’ period has passed, the booking can be cancelled with a full refund up to 10 weeks before the date of the booking. After that, 35% of the fee is retained in the event of a cancellation not fewer than 14 days before the date the workshop is due to take place. After that time, no refund can be made. Where possible, House of Fun will offer an alternative date to reschedule the workshop before a cancellation is confirmed.*
*In the event of House of Fun needing to cancel a workshop for any reason, a full refund will be made.
2. Payments
Unless otherwise agreed upon at the time of booking. Once a booking has been confirmed, House of Fun will issue an invoice for the total amount due. Issued invoices will state payment terms. Unless instructed otherwise, the invoice will be sent to the person making the booking.
3. Changing your booking
If, for any reason, a booking date needs to be changed, House of Fun will require a minimum of 14 days notice. With notice, House of Fun will, where possible, move the booking with no charge. While every effort will be made to move the booking, House of Fun can in no way guarantee that it is possible due to existing bookings and/or staff availability, which may lead to the need to cancel the booking.
4. Cancellations
Where possible, House of Fun will offer an alternative date to reschedule the workshop before and cancellation is confirmed.*
*In the event of House of Fun needing to cancel a workshop for any reason, a full refund will be made.
5. Special requirements
Any special requirements or requests can be made using the booking request form. The House of Fun bookings team will then contact you to establish requirement details and obtain any further information, if needed.
6. Supervision and behaviour management
While the House of Fun instructor will manage the session, staff members of the booking organisation should be present in adequate numbers to satisfy required ratios. The overall responsibility for behaviour management will be held by the organisation's staff.
7. Illness and First Aid
The responsibility for first aid and emergency care will remain with the customer/organiser.
In the event of illness or injury causing a workshop to be cancelled after it has started, no refund will be issued.
8. Mobile phones and electronic devices
House of Fun will follow the policy of the organisation with regard to mobile phones and electronic devices. However, please be aware that the House of Fun instructor will need to use a company laptop to access the learning materials and tablet devices for the attendees to access the digital instructions.
9. Insurance
All attendees at our sessions are covered by our Public Liability Insurance.
10. Photography / Filming
House of Fun uses photos and videos to capture all the fun for our website, social media galleries, promotional materials and for local press. We will, on occasion, request permission to collect photographs and/or videos. This permission will be requested before the session to allow time for permissions to be obtained.
11. Customer feedback / Complaints
If you have concerns or suggestions, please tell us through bookings@house-of-fun.co.uk; we value your feedback and use it to develop and improve our services.
